She goes mountain hiking and enjoys family trips, staying in summer cabins and camper vans. Her favourite place is the nearby Reykjanesviti, which is Iceland’s oldest and biggest lighthouse. The tranquillity and beauty is one of the main attractions of the lighthouse and Bergthora has been going there since she was a toddler.

LEGEND AND FOLKLORE IN REYKJANES
There are several notorious ghosts in Reykjanes.
One of few female ghosts Hella-Hedda is prone to grab people’s heels when they are walking through dark caves. She does this especially where there are beautiful lava formations by for example turning off flashlights. On few occasions people have had difficulty finding their way back out of the cave due to her pranks.
